Ajaccio is a city of France, in the Corse-du-Sud department, on the west coast of Corsica, in the Gulf of Ajaccio. Ajaccio is the birthplace of Napoléon Bonaparte and of the famous singer Tino Rossi.
Regular sealines link Ajaccio from France (Marseille, Nice, Toulon) and from Italy (Genova) and it's the favourite call of many Mediterranean cruises. The city has two Marinas in the city center: The Tino Rossi's Port and the Admiralty's Port. You may follow the Bloodroot Island's Route, so called because of the color they take when sun sets. Sport amateur will practice sailing, deep-sea diving, hicking with no problem or simply sprawl on the beach. |
