The hostel is situated just in front of the exotic and well attended garden park of the Villaviciosa municipality. It is a place surrounded by the traditional 'sidrerias' where it is posible to taste the best sidra of the region. Our hostel was founded in the 1914 and has the proud of pursuing the task of keeping together tradition and modernity, being in fact and important part of Villaviciosa and a meeting point for its people. Our hostel has rooms, all of them, equipped whit bath, telephone and television.And a small dining room reserved to the exclusive use of hostel guests.

Cristal Hotel is situated near the well-known Estuary of Villaviciosa. It is famous for its special drink "sider", and has beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. The Estuary of Villaviciosa is a striking, natural spot, combining elements from the river and the sea. The main characteristics of this Estuary of great environmental value are the halophilous and sub-halophilus vegetation, its important fauna, especially ornithological and the great variety of units generated within its boundaries. The Estuary flows into Tazones, between the beaches of El Puntal and Rodiles and gradually narrows into the centre of Villaviciosa itself, when it reaches The Porreos, name given to the pieces of land found in the area reclaimed from the sea where sub-halophilus meadows can be found with highly interesting canals and ponds. The forests surrounding the valleys are specially recommended for hiking.
