This is a beautifully refurbished Victorian property situated on the same road as Prestwick International Airport. New to Active Hotels. The Beechwood consists of two adjoined houses, one in which your hosts live and the other is completely for guest use. This gives you the independence of a hotel at sensible guest house prices. Situated in an ideal position for those passing through Prestwick International Airport. Early breakfasts can be arranged for early departures (please mention at the time of booking). Late check ins can also be arranged if noted at the time of booking. The Beechwood is surrounded by many golf courses, making us a golfer's haven. We are also in walking distance to the award winning town centre of Ayr, which boast many shops, bars and restaurants.

A beautifully maintained victorian villa which is close to the town centre and the railway station. Less than 10 minutes from Prestwick Airport. Ideal base for golfing parties with the vast variety of South Ayrshire's fine courses on our doorstep. Golf packages can be arranged and be upgraded to include transport, with airport transfers and/or packed lunches. Turas-Mara is totally Non-Smoking and has recently been tastefully refurbished. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities with showers, tv with digital freeview, complimentary hospitality tray and many other extras to help you enjoy your stay. WiFi internet access is available. There is private parking at the rear. At the front there is a well tended garden which is overlooked by our dining room. For early departures a takeway picnic breakfast is available. It is a 5 minute walk from Ayr railway station and the town centre with its vast variety of amenities. Also within walking distance are Ayr Racecourse, Gaiety Theatre, seafront and the Scottish Bowling Centre. Turas-Mara is only 10 minutes by road from Burns Cottage, Burns Heritage Centre, Brig o'Doon and Alloway Auld Kirk.

Built in 1829, this historic building has wood carvings of songs and poems written by Robert Burns himself. Spacious en suite rooms are simply styled with traditional decor.
