The hotel sits on the estate of Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and offers glorious views of the natural beauty of the New Forest. Questo hotel moderno vanta una posizione eccellente nel cuore della città e offre splendide viste panoramiche sulla costa di Southampton. Situato vicino alla M3 e alla M27, l'hotel offre un design moderno. Da lunedì 7 gennaio, per circa due settimane, inizierà la prima fase di ristrutturazione, che interesserà il bar e il ristorante. L'hotel mette a disposizione un ristorante e un bar temporanei e continuerà comunque a operare come al solito, con snack da bar e un menu completo ai pasti. Dal 21 gennaio per circa due settimane verrà istallata la nuova reception. Sarà comunque disponibile un banco temporaneo nell'ingresso dell'hotel, che servirà i nostri clienti come sempre. La terza fase dei lavori vedrà la trasformazione del salone e i ritocchi definitivi (tappeti, tende e mobili) prima dell'apertura del nostro nuovo piano terra, prevista per il 16 febbraio. Ci scusiamo con i nostri ospiti in anticipo per il disturbo che questi lavori potrebbero causare. L'hotel farà comunque il possibile per offrire gli alti standard di sempre. The Swan dates back to 1377 and retains many of its original features. The intimate restaurant serves traditional dishes and has an extensive wine list. Guests include many people of sense and sensibility - that is to say, devotees of Jane Austen, who make their pilgrimage to her cottage in the Chawton area of Alton during their stay with us. The cottage is now a popular tourist attraction and museum dedicated to Jane's life and work. Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice were written here. But you don't have to be a fan of Jane Austen to enjoy the pretty village of Chawton or the attractions of the Swan Hotel.
