Italy is a peninsula shaped as a boot. Several archipelagos borders the coasts which the three principals are Sardinia, Elb island and Sicilia. The italian borders are : The Ligurian see and the Tyrrenian See on the West, the Ionian See and the Adriatic See on the east, the Alps on North wrap two small states : the Vatican and Saint-Martin. Italy has 4 active Volcanos : The Vesuvio, the Etna, the Vulcano and the Stromboli, that make regional risks including earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. There are 3 principal lakes : Major Lake, Come Lake, de Garde Lake.
